The Institute of Social Sciences in New Delhi will hold a roundtable discussion on “The Evolving Situation in Burma: International Responses” on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the institute.
The keynote address will be delivered by Debbie Stothard of Alsean Burma followed by a panel discussion including Sumit Chakravarty, the editor of Mainstream; David Knaute, International Federation for Human Rights; Ambassador Preet Malik, former ambassador to Myanmar; Dr. Tint Swe, ex-MP National League for Democracy; Prof. Manmohini Kaul, School of International Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University; C.S. Kuppuswamy, South Asia Analysis Group; and Vishal Arora, journalist.
