Revolution Activities
-On Monday, the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that many households in Myanmar have had to skip meals just to survive.
-In Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army raided Tanaungdaw Village, shot dead 2 local youth and set fire to houses.
-According to the news in the Singapore-based Straits Times, the prices of condo apartments in Yangon have doubled over the period of five years despite the economic crisis due to civil war.
-According to the People’s Goal, 127 junta members were caught as prisoners of war in February, 27 individuals surrendered and 46 others joined the public.
-In Monywa Township of Sagaing Region, there was an attack at the junta army on mobile patrol on their way out of Ma-U Gate. Brave Heart Army (BHA) stated that a junta soldier had died and a gun had been confiscated.
Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
-According to the Institute of Chin Affairs, over 200 junta soldiers died, over 250 others were injured and over 40 others were caught in battles in Falam Township of Chin State within four months, while Chin Combined Forces lost 42 members.
-In Pulaw Township of Tanintharyi Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing on Taphileko Village on Monday afternoon. The Karen National Union stated that 6 people, including 3 children, had lost their lives in the incident.
-In Kyaukgyi Township of Bago Region, 30 civilians lost their lives due to the junta’s invasion and airstrikes. Additionally, about 160 others were arrested, according to the KNU.
The Military Commission
-Reportedly, 2 candidates from the Union Solidarity and Development Party, who had lost to their rivals in the junta’s election, submitted complaints to the Union Election Commission.
-At 3:00 pm Monday, the junta’s Ambassador to Thailand discussed with the advisor to Thai Foreign Minister Mr. Kallayana Vipattipumiprates about border security and trade.
-According to the Yangon Regional Petroleum Products Oversight Department, the vehicles, allowed to be used daily, will be reviewed and sold fuel, while private vehicles will be sold fuel on even and odd days alternately according to their license number.
-The junta’s Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation and responsible personnel inspected the renovation work of Hsin Thay Reservoir, damaged due to Sagaing Earthquake, near Mezaligyin Village in Tatgone Township of Naypyidaw.
-For the Online Railway Ticketing and Payment System (ORTP) being implemented by Myanmar Railway, the online ticket purchase time was extended to 10 minutes before trains leave.
-The junta propaganda media claimed that arrangements had been made for the 3rd Section of Sagaing Regional Hluttaw (Parliament) to be conducted successfully.
