Aung Kyaw Moe, the secretary of the Myanmar Hotelier Association (Inle Zone), said that full details of the Myanmar Travel and Tourism Project Plan will be announced on time in March.

“The main task of this project has been carried out with funding supplied by Norway,” he said. “The Asia Green Development Bank has given technical support, and experts from Germany … have also been involved.”

The project aims at introducing a comprehensive plan that will create employment opportunities, develop human resources and reduce poverty, the Association has said, plus it will outline rules and regulations concerning the travel and tourism industry.
