Mizzima awarded global JTI certificate for reliable news on Myanmar

Business conference scheduled in Rangoon Dec. 3-4

A business conference “Into Myanmar: Mobile Telecom, Internet Infrastructure, Cloud Computing Global Summit 2012” will meet in Rangoon on Dec. 3-4 at the Inya Lake Hotel.

Current issues to be discussed include major investment sectors and recent reforms, the new telecom law and telecom opportunities. The government is calling for 50 per cent telecom penetration by 2015.

There are now significant opportunities to adopt novel technological strategies in Burma due to a lack of infrastructure and the opportunity to provide value-added services in a growing market.
