The National Unity Government (NUG)

  • Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that an earthquake with Richter Scale 4.2 had hit near Mandalay two days prior to the one-year anniversary of the Sagaing Major Earthquake.
  • On the 81st Anti-Fascist Day, the Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH) sent a statement that only People’s Defence Forces and ethnic revolution forces, born to the public, are the foundations of the real federal democratic army of the future.
  • In Minbu (Saku) Township of Magway Region, Minbu District Battalion (6) provided rice and financial support door-to-door to the fire victims.
  • On Wednesday, there was a meeting (6/2026) between the NUG Central Committee on the Interim Public Administration and the People’s Administration from Mandalay Region.
  • In Sagaing Region, Khin-U Township PDF provided financial support to the families in honour of the comrades who had sacrificed their lives.
  • In Thegone Township of Bago Region, the administrator of Nyaung Win Village, who had always threatened the public, was caught dead by Paungty PDF (3601).

Revolution Activities

  • In Mahlaing Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army conducted an aerial bombing on a local village. Reportedly, 4 local residents lost their lives and a child was injured.
  • In South Korea, Spring Revolution groups and Korean civil society organizations protested against the junta’s feast in commemoration of the Armed Forces Day, in front of Mondrian Hotel.
  • At 11:20 pm Wednesday, Brave Warriors for Myanmar conducted an attack via 107mm grenades on the junta’s Magway Air Force.
  • In Salin Township of Magway Region, the junta army invading the area has carried out drone attacks on local monasteries.
  • Burma Army completed their basic military training Batch (4).
  • Blood Money Campaign stated that it is about time to ban the access to jet fuel by the Myanmar military junta which has continued aerial bombings and war crimes.
  • In Ye Township of Mon State, an alliance of Mon-Tanintharyi Brotherhood Drone Forces conducted constant attacks on the junta army.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

  • Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) had seized the town of Kutkhine from their alliance member Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA). After that, the gates of the Kachin Independence Army and the Shan State Progressive Party were also removed from Union Road in Northern Shan State.
  • In Ngape Township of Magway Region, 20 junta soldiers died in a local battle, according to CDF Asho.

The Military Commission

  • In the domestic market, fuel prices have sharply increased from 800MMK to nearly 1,300MMK per liter. The military junta announced that limited amount of fuel would be sold depending on types of vehicles and engine power.
  • The junta propaganda media outlets claimed that 8 members of the PDF and 10 members of the Arakan Army, along with weapons, had returned to the legal fold.
  • According to the military junta, the Thura Title was presented to three recipients (a colonel and two women), the military gallantry medal to seven recipients and the Ye Bala Title to 32 recipients.
  • To honour the 81st Anniversary of Armed Forces Day, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing and his wife hosted a dinner at the square of Zeyathiri Beikman in Naypyidaw on Thursday night.
  • The second junta leader Soe Win and his wife paid respects to retired senior army officers who had served the Tatmadaw and who were to attend the parade of the 81st Anniversary of Armed Forces Day.
  • The Speaker of the junta’s Yangon Regional Hluttaw stated that the list of committees to be formed in the third session must be submitted by March 30.
  • The junta’s Chief Minister of Mandalay Region claimed that mobile performance of floats during Thingyan would not be held this year due to the fuel crisis and it would be organized in an alternative way.
