The National Unity Government (NUG)
- On Tuesday, Thayarwaddy District Regiment (1/3801) under Bago Regional Command stated that they had not allowed any collection from the public with a fixed amount or demanded money from the public. They added that complaints could be made about such alleged activities against the forces under them.
- In Pauk Township of Magway Region, the junta army has prepared to invade the area while firing heavy weapons and drones on local villages on a daily basis. Consequently, local residents of 14 villages have had to flee.
- In Seik Phyu Township of Magway Region, the People’s Defence Force (PDF) conducted a mine attack on the junta army on road patrol.
- In Myaung Township of Sagaing Region, the junta army carried out an aerial bombing on Thaunggyi Village. Reportedly, 6 people lost their lives and more than 20 others were injured.
- At the entrance to Natmauk in Magway Region, the PDF raided the junta’s Nady Shwewah Gate, noting they had been demanding money from the public.
Revolution Activities
- On Tuesday, civil society organizations, including Justice for Myanmar, called on Japanese finance companies to stop doing business which would bring benefit to the Myanmar military junta.
- US Embassy ChargĂ© d’Affaires Douglas Sonnek attended Yangon International Mobility Show held in Yangon and talked with the junta’s business partners. Regarding it, he has faced criticism from the Myanmar public.
- In Sagaing Region, strike committees and local people carried out public movements for preventive measures against the junta’s aerial assaults and against the military dictatorship.
- In Salin Township of Magway Region, there was a mine attack on the junta army on patrol from Kywekyaung Village. Reportedly, 2 junta members were injured.
- The junta army conducted constant airstrikes on the camps of Yaw Defence Force.
- In Myinmu Township of Sagaing Region, the revolution forces attacked a junta troop somewhere on Monywa-Mandalay Road. According to People’s Liberation Army, 8 junta soldiers including a captain died.
- In Myaing Township of Magway Region, the Upcountry Alliance provided financial support to the families of 3 comrades who had sacrificed their lives.
- In Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, there has been heavy fighting between the junta army trapped in the area and the revolutionary forces. Reportedly, the military junta has carried out daily aerial attacks and sent a large number of the junta armed forces from Dawei.
- Sagaing Regional Strike Committee asserted that they would not accept any parliament or government arisen out of the junta’s sham election. They also called for the balanced operation of military and political affairs for the victory of the Spring Revolution.
Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
- In Rakhine State, there have been heavy battles between the junta armed forces and the Arakan Army at Shwe Min Gan Jetty near Sittway and Minpyin-Zinchaung in Kyauk Phyu.
- The Commander in Chief of CDF CDM Siyin stated that if all the revolution forces fighting the military junta, not just Chin revolution forces, could be united, the revolution would be more effective.
- There was a mine attack at the junta army from Kalay in Sagaing Region to Falam in Chin State. According to CDF CDM Siyin, about 10 junta soldiers died.
- Chin National Organization released a statement with strong objection to the allegations of Indian media outlets that Chin National Organization/ Chin National Defence Force was associated with drug dealing.
The Military Commission
- The military junta has carried out offensives to reopen Myawaddy-Kawkarait Asia Road and to regain control over the border. Reportedly, officials from Thai Border Committee met with the junta officials in Mae Sot.
- After undergoing an emergency back surgery performed jointly by specialists from India and Myanmar, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing attended the meeting on ensuring adequate fuel supply and systematic fuel consumption.
- In Thabaitgyin Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army regained their regiment Ka-La-Ya (148) near Kyauk Hlebi Village.
- The junta propaganda media claimed that illicit drugs worth 5,700 lakh MMK had been confiscated in Ye Township of Mon State.
- The ceremony to commence the operation of domestically manufactured Battery Electric Locomotives (BEL) on Yangon Circular Trains was held at 7:30 AM on Wednesday at Yangon Central Station, Platform No. 1, in Yangon Region.
- Illicit drugs and drug-making equipment, with an estimated value of 20.04 billion MMK, was seized near Kawra village in Tachileik Township.
- At the meeting on fuel, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing emphasized the need to ensure that fuel reaches the hands of the public who genuinely use it, and to effectively expose and take action against illicit trading and fraudulent activities to prevent black market transactions. He also stressed the need to make concerted efforts and coordinate to procure fuel from partner countries.
- The junta leader said that essential fuel must be supplied for public transportation such as train services and highway bus services. He also highlighted the need to relieve restrictions for emergency ambulances and the vehicles of social groups to buy fuel.
