Mizzima awarded global JTI certificate for reliable news on Myanmar

Four activists protest in Rangoon

Four activists, including a member of Generation Wave, held a short protest on Tuesday at 4 pm in Tamwe Township, east central Rangoon.

A Mizzima correspondent reported that the four held placards denouncing the crackdown last week on protesters at the Monywa copper mine site in Sagaing Division.

He said the protest broke up peacefully after 15 minutes and that police did not become involved.
