The National Unity Government (NUG)

-The NUG welcomed the agreement between the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army (MNDAA) for a ceasefire following their discussion in Lauk Kaing. The National Unity Consultative Council (NUCC) also called on both sides to keep the peace.

-According to Bago Yoma People’s Defence Force Strategic PDF (22), they have raised the momentum of military operations in the western part of Bago Region and they have conducted a 1500-lakh MMK campaign for rations and medicine for the forces.

-In Mandalay Region, the junta army conducted drone attacks on villages on their way out of Ngazun on March 20. In response, the revolution forces fired heavy weapons at the junta troops.

-Naypyidaw Regional Command Battalion (901) has conducted a 1000-lakh MMK campaign for four essential sectors of the military affairs.

-In Pulaw Township of Tanintharyi Region, Myeik District Force (1) set fire to the narcotic drugs confiscated from the wives of Pyusawti members and administrators.

Revolution Activities

-According to the Blood Money Campaign on March 20, the military junta used jet fuel worth over 4,000,000 USD within three months for aerial bombings on civilians.

-In Chiang Mai, Thailand, a photo exhibition will be conducted on March 28 to raise funds for the public in central Myanmar, who have faced both battles and earthquakes, and to highlight the resilience of the public following the Sagaing Earthquake last year.

-According to Conflict Armament Research, the military drone construction of Iran might have relations with Synpex Shwe Company from Myanmar.

-In Shwebo Township of Sagaing Region, Local Strike Committee provided computer training to students, CDM staff, volunteer teachers and comrades for office work and for future job opportunities.

-In Yezagyo Township of Magway Region, there was an attack on the junta troops burning Natnyun Village. Reportedly, 5 junta soldiers died whereas the whole village was burnt to ashes due to the junta’s arson.

-Chin Human Rights Organization strongly condemned that 2 military officers, who had been involved in human rights violations, were appointed to be the MPs in Chin Hluttaw following the junta’s sham election.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

-In Thayetchaung Township of Tanintharyi Region, there has been military tension between the junta army and a combined force of the Karen National Liberation Army. Consequently, the public from 20 local villages have had to flee and they are in need of assistance.

-The leaders of the TNLA and the MNDAA met in Lauk Kaing for four days. Reportedly, they agreed to no fewer than five points.

-In Kyaukgyi Township and Sawti Township of Bago Region, the junta army has been invading the areas. Consequently, more than 3,000 people have had to run away, according to Karen National Union (Central).

-In Shwe Kyin Township of Bago Region, the junta army conducted an airstrike via fighter jet on Tiluta Village. According to the KNU, 3 people were injured in the incident.

The Military Commission

-The military junta announced that foreign investments in Myanmar would be accepted not only in USD but also in Chinese Yuan.

-In North Dagon Myothit Township of Yangon Region, Terminal Gas Station, which had been selling fuel to over 900 cars daily, was on fire.

-Myanmar Airways International announced that the fuel supply issues have made it necessary to impose stricter baggage limits.

-The junta’s Livestock Department claimed that 986.23 tons of honey had been exported from April to the end of February in 2025-2026 fiscal year.

-The junta’s Deputy Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, along with officials, conducted an aerial inspection of land use changes around Inle Lake in Nyaungshwe Township of Southern Shan State.

-The military junta announced that another 50 illegal foreigners, involved in online scams, had been arrested in Lechar Township of Southern Shan State.

-An inspection team from the junta’s Myanmar National Human Rights Commission, carried out an inspection of Bago Prison and Bago Myoma Police Lock-up.
