The National Unity Government (NUG)

-The NUG dismissed U Nyi Nyi Min, who had violated the policy framework of Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment.

-On Saturday, Daw Kyi Pyar, Permanent Secretary of Prime Minister Office-NUG, submitted a letter of resignation due to increasing pressure after being investigated for allegations of corruption and being warned strongly.

-Dr. Zaw Wai Soe, Union Minister of Prime Minister Office-NUG, stated that they would reform the entire mechanism of staff appointment via 4As policy regarding a controversial issue of appointing relatives within the NUG.

-In Bago Region, there was a meeting of the Special Operation Forces under the People’s Defence Force. Reportedly, the leaders, members and families of the SOFs attended.

-At the United Nations Women’s Affair meeting, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that Myanmar junta army had killed nearly 8,000 women and girls who had nowhere to escape.

-In Gantgaw Township of Magway Region, a unit sergeant from the junta’s Regiment (371) brought weapons and defected to the PDF. Reportedly, he was rewarded 15 lakh MMK.

-In Myothit Township of Magway Region, the PDF attacked a security outpost of the junta’s Defence Equipment Factory (17). Reportedly, 5 junta soldiers died.

Revolution Activities

-On Thai-Myanmar Border, the Institute for Peace and Social Justice and Burma Lawyers’ Council jointly organized a 5-day advance training on federalism to build a strong constitutional foundation for the future federal democracy of Myanmar.

-In Maryland, USA, the Chair of Chin Social Organization (Washington D.C.) stated at the event on the 78th Chin National Day that there would be a chance to liberate from the military dictatorship only when all Chin ethnic groups were united.

-In Monywa of Sagaing Region, the junta army shot at a car carrying oil, which took the wrong direction. Reportedly, the driver lost his life in the incident.

-In Nyaung Shwe Township of Southern Shan State, Inle Region Liberation Organization was established to implement Local Self-Governance for equal participation of all ethnic people living in Inle Area.

-In Ye Township of Mon State, there was an attack on the junta army on their way out for mobile patrol. Reportedly, 4 junta soldiers, including a captain, died and a gun was confiscated.

-In Ywar Ngan Township of Shan State, there was a guerrilla attack on the junta army invading local villages. Reportedly, 10 junta soldiers died.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

-Reportedly, 10 conscripted soldiers from the junta army defected to the Karen National Union Brigade (3).

-In Falam Township of Chin State, Chinland Defence Forces attacked the junta army stationed at Htinshu Camp. Reportedly, 9 weapons and some dead bodies of the junta soldiers were confiscated.

The Military Commission

-In Hleku Township of Yangon Region, rockets, ready to be fired, were found on Saturday morning, according to the military junta.

-The junta’s Minister for Education claimed again that the curriculum was being redrawn for the inclusion of industry, agriculture and livestock subjects for middle school students from Grade 6 to 9 in the upcoming academic year.

-In Myawaddy, a discussion was conducted under the supervision of the junta’s Karen State Government for a high rate of passing the 2026 matriculation exam.

-In Okkan Township of Yangon Region, the junta’s Ministry of Health has been providing eyecare treatment to the public.

-Colonel Ye Moe, a member of the junta’s Naypyidaw Council, inspected the municipal activities in Pyinmanar and the construction of staff housing in Zabyu Thiri Township.
