The National Unity Government (NUG)
- Acting President of the NUG Duwa Lashi La stated that Chin State could be built successfully only with the unity of the Chin ethnic people.
- The National Unity Consultative Council urged Thailand that the dignity of ASEAN is its uprightness, and relations with Myanmar must focus on humanitarian affairs and security.
- The junta propaganda claimed that Thuba Yarzar and Daung Nyo, leaders of Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA), had been killed. However, the commander of Yinmabin District Battalion (28) stated that they had been detained and looked after by the People’s Defence Forces.
- On the 78th Chin National Day, Committee Representing Pyitaungsu Hluttaw stated that they would join hands with Chin ethnic people in the establishment of a federal democratic union.
Revolution Activities
- Ten members of Solidarity of Trade Union Myanmar had been sued by Wanxinda Travel Goods. Reportedly, all of them were released.
- In Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region, 3 junta soldiers died and a G3 gun was confiscated in a local battle.
- University Entrance Team asserted that all the procedures for university entrance under the NUG would be suspended as the decision over the investigation against Daw Kyi Pyar from the Prime Minister Office NUG was not acceptable.
- According to truck drivers and traders, there have been several cases in which Thai goods were confiscated during the import through the Thai-Karen border. Reportedly, the products have been stranded along the road and in Hpa-Ang Township.
- In Magway Region, a soldier from the junta’s Regiment (371) based in Gantgaw, along with weapons, defected to the Yaw Revolutionary Army.
- On Friday, the 78th Chin National Day was celebrated in Mae Sot on the Thai-Myanmar border.
- In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, thousands of local people have had to run away due to the junta armed forces stationing in their villages.
- World Council of Churches – WCC strongly condemned the junta’s aerial bombing of a village of Christians in Myanmar. They also stated that they stand with the Myanmar people.
- In Taungthar Township of Mandalay Region, the junta army carried out aerial bombings via fighter jets and paramotors on local villages. Moreover, a large number of the junta troops invaded the area on the ground. Consequently, thousands of local residents had to flee.
- Human Rights Watch called on the ASEAN member states to support the efforts of Timor-Leste to take legal action against the junta’s human rights violations in Myanmar.
- On Thursday, Data for Myanmar stated that 119,411 houses belonging to civilians had been set on fire from May 2021 to August 2025 during the coup period.
Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
- In Pulaw Township of Tanintharyi Region, Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Special Forces were able to seize the junta camp in Taung Kaung Laung Village.
- In Ledo (Kyaukgyi) under Karen National Union Brigade (3), 2 children carrying about 100 WY tablets were caught.
- Restoration Council of Shan State conducted the 4th Congress and reappointed General Yawd Serk as the Chair.
The Military Commission
- The junta propaganda newspapers claimed that there would be legal action against opening private cinemas.
- In the statement to Chin National Day, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing mentioned that riots, lawless activities and disturbing divisions throughout the country, including some areas in Chin State, pose a great danger to the nation.
- In the statement to Pa-O National Day, U Aung Kham Ti, leader of the Pa-O National Organization under the junta, said that the organization has only friends, not enemies.
- According to the military junta, there were 105 cases of illicit drug confiscation in states and regions, worth over 31.837 billion MMK, from February 11 to 17.
- Tutors from universities have been providing a 3-day online training to the students who will take the matriculation exam in Magway Region.
