The National Unity Government (NUG)
- On Thursday, Yinmabin District People’s Defence Force called on those armed with weapons from the Burma National Revolutionary Army (BNRA) to contact Local Defence Forces in Yinmabin District and hand over the weapons to them.
- In an exclusive interview with Mizzima Media, Myanmar’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador U Kyaw Moe Tun stated that Myanmar’s representation at the UN to keep the right to vote plays a vital role in the revolution.
- On Wednesday night, the Union Prime Minister Office-NUG stated that valid evidence had not been found in the allegations of corruption against Daw Kyi Pyar, Permanent Secretary of the Prime Minister Office, and her husband. Reportedly, they were warned strongly for their treatment of the staff.
- On Thursday, Kyaukdagar Township PDF in Bago Region called not to conduct gambling events in the area.
- Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration-NUG stated that they had taken action against the members of the BNRA, including Bo Nagar who defected to the military junta on February 18, for their crimes.
Revolution Activities
- In Myingyan District of Mandalay Region, the revolution forces attacked the junta army invading the area.
- According to People’s Goal, 14 junta soldiers, police and militia members joined the public and 111 others were caught as prisoners of war in the second week of February.
- According to Assistance Association for Political Prisoners, women political prisoners detained arbitrarily in prisons have suffered from Amenorrhea.
- In Yinmabin Township of Sagaing Region, a local rally of Shwe Yekyi protested against the military dictatorship.
- Japan stated that they would provide medical care to Myanmar migrants staying in Thailand.
Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)
- In Dawei Township of Tanintharyi Region, there were attacks on 2 junta camps and a supporting troop contingent. According to Dawei National Liberation Army, 24 junta soldiers including a colonel died and weapons were confiscated.
- In Padan Township of Magway Region, 3 junta soldiers from Natyekan Camp defected to CDF Asho. Reportedly, they had done so as they could no longer tolerate bullying within the junta army.
The Military Commission
- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow had a retreat with the junta’s Foreign Minister U Than Swe in Phuket, Thailand. Reportedly, they discussed future relations between the two countries and peace after the recent completion of the junta’s election.
- U Than Swe claimed that the junta’s election had been held smoothly in Myanmar and the new government would hopefully be formed before Thingyan.
- On Wednesday, the junta’s MWD broadcast that Bo Nagar, the leader of the BNRA, had surrendered to the military junta.
- On Thursday morning, the junta’s helicopters landed in the town of Pale in Sagaing Region. Reportedly, they have sent their forces and weapons regularly.
- According to the junta’s Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, foreign direct investments worth 400 million USD entered the country from April to January in 2025-2026 fiscal year.
- A member of the junta’s Union Civil Service Board claimed that it is necessary to make an effort for the stability and successful operation of the administration as well as for the educated generations of the future.
- Prison sentences have been imposed on 3 people who had illegally traded the apartments from Thukha Dagon Public’s Rental Apartment Housing.
