The National Unity Government (NUG)

-In Pale Township of Sagaing Region, there were exchanges of fire between the Burma National Revolutionary Army led by Bo Nagar and the forces under the NUG on Tuesday.

-Ministry of Defence-NUG instructed all the tollbooths of the People’s Defence Forces and Local Security Forces under Shwebo District Supervision (12) in Sagaing Region to close by February 17.

-Under Ministry of Defence-NUG, Maubin District PDF (1) and Special Operation Force will jointly carry out military operations.

-A conscripted soldier from the junta’s Regiment (101) defected to the Monywa District Force (12).

-In Bago District, P2-3702 held the 4th anniversary of their establishment.

-Ministry of Social, Labour and Humanitarian Affairs-NUG stated that 3 relatively-strong earthquakes from the same fault consecutively hit near Ann in Rakhine State.

-Ministry of Human Rights-NUG called for suggestions for the bill on the Union Human Rights Commission.

Revolution Activities

-In Falule Area in the south of Myawaddy on Thai-Myanmar border, 2 heavy weapons landed and exploded in Oatpho Scam Center Compound. Reportedly, 3 Kyar Phyant scammers died.

-According to Chin Human Rights Organizations, they filed a criminal complaint against the junta’s human rights violations in Timor-Leste. They added that the junta’s pressure on Timor-Leste could not impact the case.

-In Hpasaung Township with heavy fighting in Karenni State, Salween River Bridge (Hpasaung) was damaged on Tuesday morning.

-In Yaw Area of Gantgaw Township in Magway Region, revolution forces conducted a rocket attack on the security outpost of the junta’s Ka-La-Ya (50) in Shautpin Village on Monday morning.

-In Dawei Township with recent heavy fighting in Tanintharyi Region, the junta army has raided local villages near Dawei Technological University.

-In Yezagyo Township of Magway Region, the junta army set fire to houses in Thamantapo Village and took away the public’s belongings.

Ethnic Armed Organizations (EAOs)

-In Thandaung Township of Kawthoolei Administrative Area under Karen National Union, the junta army conducted an attack in Kwinchaung Village on February 13. Reportedly, 6 houses were hit and damaged.

-In Kyaukgyi (Ledo) Township of Bago Region, 9 conscripted soldiers from the junta army defected to Karen National Defence Organization (3).

The Military Commission

-In Kyaikto Township of Mon State, the junta army set fire to the houses belonging to those associated with the KNU in nearby villages and took away belongings.

-In Yangon Region, there were 20 cases of fire between February 14 and 17.

-The junta’s Auditor General said that money laundering and the risks of financial support to terrorists became more complicated due to financial transfers across the border and the expansion of digital finance use.

-In Naga Self-Administered Zone of Sagaing Region, the junta leader Min Aung Hlaing inspected the progress of the Hwe Htaik  Hydropower Project, which is being implemented on the Hwehtaik Creek in Lahe Township. Reportedly, the power station will be installed with a four megawatt capacity.

-The junta leader Min Aung Hlaing attended a ceremony to inaugurate Chindwin Bridge (Htamanthi) in Htamanthi Village of Hommalin Township of Sagaing Region.
