281 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases reported

The number of COVID-19 cases in Myanmar has increased to 140,145 as of Sunday, according to a statement from the Ministry of Health and Sports according to Xinhua.

A total of 281 newly confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in the country on Sunday.

The death toll of COVID-19 reached 3,131 with six more deaths reported on Sunday in the country, the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Myanmar government has extended the suspension of international commercial flights and entry restriction for all incoming visitors until the end of February.
